Sophia is a spacious and modern 17-person chalet laid out over four floors in Tignes les Brévières with panoramic mountain views. The premium accommodation is located in the village's Hauts des Brévières area, just a two-minute walk to the funicular-style lift that links you to the main lift station, piste, bars and restaurants.

Sophia benefits from both a traditional Scandinavian-style wooden sauna and a balcony hot tub overlooking the picture-perfect snowy village, lake and mountains beyond – perfect for soothing your muscles after a long day on the slopes! There is ample storage for skis and boards complete with heated boot warmers, so you know your equipment will be ready for action the following day.

The chalet has seven comfortably furnished double/twin bedrooms and one triple bedroom, most of which are ensuite. On the upper level, a bathroom is shared between Rooms 5 and 6 and an additional bathroom is shared by Rooms 7 and 8. Thanks to a lockable adjoining door, Room 7 and 8 can be used as a family room if required.

With its wood and stone finish, the stylish living/dining area has an abundance of character and a sociable, open-plan layout. Guests can indulge in delicious meals at the large banqueting table, relax in front of the crackling fire and admire the idyllic views from the communal balcony. Meanwhile, a separate cosy television snug offers UK satellite TV, DVD facilities with a selection of movies, games consoles and a choice of board games.
Sophia offers a restaurant-quality dining experience that foodies will love. A hot breakfast is served daily alongside a variety of continental options, while a sumptuous afternoon tea awaits you after each day on the slopes. Six nights per week we offer a five-course meal, inclusive of canapés and a cheese course with port, and one evening you'll have the opportunity to tuck into a satisfying Savoyard speciality banquet – all accompanied by free-flowing hand-picked French bottled wine. One chalet night off per week offers you the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic local restaurants on offer in resort. See our Food and Drink page for further details and sample menus.

Direct access to the slopes is via the new Brévières Chalet Lift right at the end of the road only 50 metres away. Access to the lifts can be either by walking 3 to 4 minutes down to the slopes or via the new elevator-style ski lift that comes right from the foot of the pistes to the end of the road, around 100m from the front door. Depending on conditions it is often possible to ski down to the main gondola lift in the mornings from the top of the elevator lift.
